Masgutova Neuromuscular Reflex Integration (MNRI)
I am registered as an MNRI ® Core in Training. I started this specialist training under Dr. Masgutova and her colleagues in 2020 and I continue weekly discussions with colleagues in the UK, The Netherlands and more globally to develop my skills and knowledge. I also continue to take more classes all the time so the list may not be 100% up to date. I bring this knowledge to all my work as an Occupational Therapist and typically use these techniques for a portion of most sessions with children and adults. I can also offer intensive blocks of therapy focusing more on this approach if it is wanted.
Feedback below from a parent after a recent intensive 5 days / 6 session block of work with her daughter, who has Cerebral Palsy. Mira wanted to be able to rollerskate!
So we had to find a way to improve her posture, leg control and, importantly, her safety for when she falls.

"Dear Zoe,
It’s been a month since our therapies, and it’s been an enormous progress for Mira. She gained so much freedom and flexibility in her body, movement and balance. She obviously uses her sides much better now which gives her new opportunities in play and physical activities. Her walking is so much more stable, that I don’t even need to be right next to her all the time when we walk in the street, and it’s so much easier now to walk on unpredictable surfaces like ice, mud, snow, and that’s a huge change.
These improved motor skills lead to another change - her cognitive skills, her speech and her fine motorics too. She jumped from one age to another in one month.
We started to do the exercises at home … she loves to do them and asks to do the “lizard” all the time. I also have dozens of our notes for “therapy in play”, and it makes it so much easier to implement useful activities in our everyday life.
